1. INTRODUCTION
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (xxxxxxx) is a community of approximately 20,000 students and 2,000 staff based on 17 campuses throughout the xxxxxxxxxxxx (xxx). It is the largest higher education institution in the xxx.
It is planning to use Mahara for a cohort of 200 teachers as a pilot project.
2. REQUIREMENTS
Please provide your proposal with the following details for a cloud-based hosted solution of Mahara. We expect to require about 100-200 users, with no more than 50 simultaneous users, maximum.
- Overview of your services and solutions related to the latest version of Mahara
- Hosting infrastructure and servers (an overview)
- How service can be scaled up if required during the subscription year
- Technical details including connectivity speed from the UAE – if known
- Backup procedures
- Availability targets
- Disaster Recovery details including Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO)
- Single Sign-On (SSO) with Blackboard
- Active Directory Integration
- Details of the service:
- storage limits and server connectivity details
- Help desk hours and SLAs
- Maintenance & Quality Assurance services to the Mahara Project
- Mahara Security
- Costing table that includes server specs, storage and connectivity details
- Clients in the UAE with contact details for reference – if any
3. VALIDITY OF OFFER
Your quotation should be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days from the date of closing.
