We have successfully integrated a Google hangout and Google+ profile blocks with the Moodle 2.x. Now you can have all the functionalities of Google hangout in your Moodle platform. Basically, the Moodle users will be able to have instant video conferencing with both platforms. The Moodle hangout integration can be used for:

- Broadcasted events
- Online interest groups
